Course Description

Our signature week-long farm camps are designed to introduce community youth to the learning experiences of working on a family-run, beyond organic gardening and livestock operation. Campers will participate in a variety of the daily activities of a working farm that include, planting, harvesting, weed cultivation, animal education, processing produce, and garden and soil management. Our staff will work to provide a safe and fun learning environment with small, age-appropriate groups for a hands on experiences each day of the week. The final hour of each camp day will conclude with organized playground games and sports on our athletic playground field. In the event of inclement weather, we will retreat to shelter for demonstrations, arts & crafts, and group games & trivia. Campers will need garden gloves, shoes that can get dirty, and a brown bag snack for a mid-morning break. 9AM to 12PM April 22 through April 26
